Compliance Outcomes Need a Public Scoreboard
Responsible Vaping Coalition asks Alberta to report outcomes, not just intentions, if Bill 208 moves this fall.

Health Canada’s May 2026 TVPA review focused on compliance and enforcement and identified stronger enforcement tools and cooperation as possible actions, according to Health Canada. Alberta should make the same shift from rule text to measurable outcomes.

Why this helps everyone
Bill 208 changes product access. A public scoreboard would show whether those changes actually improve compliance or simply displace demand to sellers inspectors cannot see.
